The fire limits of the city are hereby established as follows:
Beginning at a point at the center lines of Wallis Avenue (U.S. Highway 67) and Pearson Street; thence north one hundred sixty feet (160'); thence west three hundred fifty feet (350') to the center line of Lee Street; thence north one hundred thirty feet (130') to the south boundary of Avenue B; thence west one thousand two hundred feet (1,200') to the center line of Third Street; thence south one hundred thirty feet (130'); thence west along the center line of an alley two thousand eight hundred twenty feet (2,820') to the east boundary of Matthews Street; thence south three hundred forty feet (340') to a point; thence east four thousand three hundred eighty feet (4,380') to the center line of Pearson Street; thence north one hundred sixty feet (160') to the point of beginning.
