7-2-2: GARY JAMES MEMORIAL PARK AND COMMUNITY CIVIC CENTER:
   A.   Prohibited Hours; Exceptions: It shall be unlawful for any person to be or remain in Gary James Memorial Park, in the Old Armory Civic Center, or any city property surrounding the center between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M. unless:
      1.   Such person is a member of a group or organization which has first obtained a permit from the park and armory committee. Such permit shall be granted if it appears that the group or organization will not interfere with the general use of the park or civic center by the public and if the group or organization meets all other conditions and regulations for use of Gary James Memorial Park or the Old Armory Civic Center as enacted by the city; or
      2.   Such person has rented an overnight camping facility provided by the park and armory committee. (Ord. 071309-1, 7-13-2009)
   B.   Firearms: It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally or knowingly possess, carry, or use a firearm in Gary James Memorial Park, in the Old Armory Civic Center, or on any city property surrounding the center unless specifically authorized by the park and armory committee of the city.
   C.   Motor Vehicles: It shall be unlawful for any person to operate or use any motor vehicle, all-terrain vehicle, or motorcycle in Gary James Memorial Park or on any city property surrounding the center unless on designated roadways or unless specifically authorized by the park and armory committee of the city.    D.   Animals:
      1.   Owners or handlers of dogs or other animals shall keep such animals under physical restraint at all times while in Gary James Memorial Park or on the city property surrounding the Old Armory Civic Center.
      2.   No animals shall be allowed inside the Old Armory Civic Center. (Ord. 071309-1, 7-13-2009)
   E.   Violation; Penalty: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions or terms of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be subjected to a fine not to exceed the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each offense, except where a different penalty has been established by state law for such offense.
