Notwithstanding the provisions of section 25.02.01 of this article, section 1613.6 is added to chapter 16 of the 2019 Edition of the California Building Code to read as follows:
1613.6 ASCE 7, 12.2.3.1, Exception 3. Modify ASCE 7 Section 12.2.3.1 Exception 3 to read as follows:
3. Detached one- and two-family dwellings up to two stories in height of light frame construction.
