The city council hereby appoints the members of the planning commission 1 to serve as "standby officers" of the city council pursuant to the provisions of Government Code sections 8635 through 8644. The "standby officers" shall serve in the order of his/her seniority on the planning commission. In the event more than one member of the planning commission has equal seniority, the seniority shall be determined alphabetically by the last name of the commissioner. (Ord. 0-11-1252, 6-24-2011)
