Agriculture, residential, commercial, highway commercial, and industrial (industrial subject to approval). In additional to the uses regulated in RR-22 Districts, the following uses may be permitted by variance within each sub-zone.
(A) Community Commercial CD:
(1) Grocery store;
(2) Drug store;
(3) Automobile service station;
(4) Bakery;
(5) Dry cleaning and laundry pickup;
(6) Beauty shop;
(7) Barber shop;
(8) Child care;
(9) Ice cream store;
(10) Variety store;
(11) Medical and dental offices;
(12) Professional office;
(13) Public utilities, public and quasi-public;
(14) Stores, shops and offices supplying commodities or performing services such as department stores, specialty shops, banks, business offices and other financial institutions and personal service enterprises;
(15) Restaurants, beer taverns, pool hall lounges, theaters, similar enterprises; provided that, all uses be conducted within buildings;
(16) Business and technical schools, and schools and studios of photography, art, music and dance;
(17) Bowling alley, dance hall, roller skating rink;
(18) Carpenter shops, electrical, plumbing, heating and air conditioning shops, printing and publishing or lithographic shops, mortuaries and furniture upholstering shops; provided, all uses shall be within and enclosed building;
(19) New car dealers;
(20) Garages for minor repairs of automobiles;
(21) Garages for storage of automobiles, commercial parking lots;
(22) Hotels and motels; and
(23) Any other similar retail business or service establishments which the Planning and Zoning Commission finds to be consistent with the purpose of this chapter and which will not impair the present or future use of adjacent properties.
(B) Highway Commercial CDh:
(1) Restaurant or drive-in café;
(2) Motels;
(3) New and used automobile agency;
(4) Farm machinery and equipment sales;
(5) Nurseries and greenhouses;
(6) Mobile home sales;
(7) Mobile home park;
(8) Drive-in theater;
(9) Bowling alley, other commercial recreation facilities;
(10) Automobile service station;
(11) Auto accessories;
(12) Accessory buildings and uses; and
(13) Other uses approved by the Planning Commission as being in harmony with the intent of the neighborhood commercial zone and similar in nature to the above listed uses.
