§ 152.999 PENALTY.
   The county may bring an action against an owner to require the property to conform to the provisions of this chapter.
   (A)   An action under this section may include injunction, abatement, merger of title or any other appropriate action or proceeding to prevent, enjoin or abate the violation.
   (B)   The county need only establish the violation to obtain the injunction.
   (C)   The county may assess civil penalties for violation of any of the provisions of this chapter.
   (D)   Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter is punishable as a Class C misdemeanor upon conviction either:
      (1)   As a Class C misdemeanor; or
      (2)   By imposing an appropriate civil penalty not to exceed $1,000, pursuant to state law.
