(A) The purpose of this subchapter is to authorize and govern the use of electronic meetings by county councils, boards, commissions or other public bodies which are required to hold public meetings in compliance with the state’s open and public meetings laws found in UCA § 52-4-207.
(B) Unless stated otherwise, all other policies, regulations and laws pertaining to notice, meetings being open to the public and other matters will apply to county meetings held through electronic means and the participation of members in non-electronic meetings through electronic means.
