3-2-1: DEFINITIONS:
Unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms, as used in this chapter, shall be construed according to the definitions given below:
 
ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR:
Any spirits, wine, beer, ale or other liquid containing more than one-half of one percent (0.5%) of alcohol by volume, which is fit for beverage purposes.
CLUB:
A corporation organized under the laws of the state of Illinois, not for pecuniary profit, solely for the promotion of some common object other than the sale and consumption of alcoholic liquors which conforms to the definition of a club as provided by statute.
GAMING LOUNGE:
An establishment or business whose primary purpose is to operate video gaming terminals, as defined under the Illinois Video Gaming Act, and in which the sale of food or snacks and alcoholic beverages are merely incidental to the operation of video gaming terminals.
PERSON:
Any individual, firm, partnership, association or corporation.
RETAIL DEALER:
A person who sells or offers for sale alcoholic liquor for use or consumption and not for resale in any form; provided, however, that this definition shall not be construed to apply to any duly licensed practicing physician or dentist in the strict practice of his profession, or any drugstore employing a licensed pharmacist in the concoction of prescriptions of duly licensed physicians.
RETAIL SALE:
