§ 110.05 INVESTIGATION FEE.
   Where any provision of this code of ordinances, or other law of the city, requires a permit to be obtained as a prerequisite to the issuance of a license to engage in any business, and such provision or other law does not set forth the fee to be paid for an investigation into the character, reputation, record or ability of the applicant, a fee established by Council resolution shall be charged for such investigation, and the full amount shall be retained by the city, whether such permit shall be granted or denied.
