§ 71.65 ESTABLISHMENT, DESIGNATION AND MAINTENANCE OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSWALKS.
   (A)   The City Traffic Engineer shall establish, designate and maintain crosswalks at intersections and other places by appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway. Crosswalks shall only be installed based upon a traffic analysis, except that crosswalks in place as of January 1, 1991, may be maintained in place.
   (B)   Crosswalks shall only be installed at intersections, except where special conditions indicate a need for a crosswalk at locations other than intersections. Crosswalks located at other than intersections shall be at least 200 feet from an intersection.
