(A) Trap required. It shall be unlawful for any person owning or operating a private or public automobile or carriage wash rack to permit any water or effluent therefrom to flow into any public or house connection sewer unless such structure shall be trapped by a sand trap constructed according to approved building and engineering standards.
(B) Inspections; cleaning. Such sand traps shall be inspected daily when in use and shall be cleaned as often as necessary for their efficient operation.
