§ 51.02 CONNECTION WITH PUBLIC SEWER REQUIRED; CERTAIN CESSPOOLS EXCEPTED.
   All plumbing affecting the sanitary condition of any building or other structure located within the boundaries of any lot in the city shall be connected with, and drained into, a public sewer, and it shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct or maintain any cesspool in the city; provided, however, on premises where a cesspool is being maintained, the owner or occupant thereof shall not be required to connect with the public sewer so long as the cesspool is sufficient and adequate to serve the premises.
