331.25 DRIVING ON CLOSED ROADS, DRIVES OR TRAILS.
(a)   No person shall drive, ride or walk upon or along any park road, drive or trail which has been closed to public access and posted with appropriate signs, gates, or barricades. The Director or his/her agents of the park shall have authority to order roads, drives or trails closed during the process of construction, reconstruction, or repairs, or when, on the basis of engineering investigations, weather conditions render travel either unsafe or unduly destructive of the road, area, drive or trail. Rangers have the authority to limit public vehicle access to designated service drives.
(b)   If the offender commits the offense while distracted and the distracting activity is a contributing factor to the commission of the offense, the offender is subject to the additional fine established under Section 303.991 of the Traffic Code.
