The collecting of fruits, nuts, mushrooms and berries shall be permitted in areas unrestricted for said activities. Such collecting shall be prohibited at the Blue Heron Reserve Fen and an area extending 100 feet on all sides of the Fen. Rocks, minerals and plant parts*, other than fruits, nuts and berries shall not be collected. Persons wishing to collect any items not permitted by this section must receive a special use permit from the Director prior to commencing such collecting activity.
*Leaves that have fallen to the ground may be collected.
