(a) Applicants for video service authorizations within the boundaries of the City of Sandusky must concurrently provide a complete copy of the application submitted to the Director of Commerce, pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, to the City Manager of the City of Sandusky so that the City Manager may provide any appropriate comments to the Department of Commerce regarding an application for a video provider authorization.
(b) Each video service provider, which has properly obtained an authorization from the State of Ohio Department of Commerce, intending to provide service within the boundaries of the City of Sandusky shall notify the Director of Finance of its intent to provide such service in writing, providing copies of the documents granting the video service provider such authorization, such copies containing an original certification by the Director of Commerce that the original documents are on file with the Director of Commerce and are true and accurate copies of the originals, whereupon the Director of Finance shall notify the video service provider of the contents of this ordinance and any other information required by the Ohio Revised Code within ten (10) days.
