If a license is denied, revoked or suspended, or a renewal is refused, the Chief of Police or designee shall cause written notification of such denial, revocation or suspension, or refusal to renew, to be given to the applicant by certified mail at the address stated in the application, and such written notification shall include the basis for such denial, revocation, suspension or refusal. An applicant receiving such notification may request a hearing, in writing, before the Chief of Police or designee. A hearing requested under this section shall be held within seven business days of receiving the request. (Ord. 08-024. Passed 4-14-08.)
