747.14 ISSUANCE OF PUBLIC VEHICLE FOR HIRE’S DRIVER’S LICENSE; RENEWALS.
   (a)   Upon satisfactory fulfillment of the foregoing requirements and a consideration of the application and reports required in Section 747.13, the Chief of Police or designee shall approve or reject the application.
   (b)   Upon approval of the application for a public vehicle for hire driver’s license, the Chief of Police or designee shall issue a license to the applicant which shall bear the name, address, a signature and photograph of the applicant.
   (c)   Such public vehicle for hire driver’s license shall be in effect for the remainder of the calendar year. All public vehicle for hire driver’s licenses shall expire annually on December 31 unless sooner revoked.
   (d)   All applications for renewal of public vehicle for hire driver’s licenses shall be filed with the Chief of Police or designee by December 1 of each year and renewal licenses shall be issued in the same manner and upon the same conditions as prescribed for initial public vehicle for hire driver’s licenses.
