No person shall drive or operate a public vehicle for hire without first having obtained a public vehicle for hire driver’s license from the Chief of Police or designee. Each public vehicle for hire driver shall pay a license fee as set forth by the City Manager and approved by the City Commission for each year to the Chief of Police or designee. All public vehicle for hire driver’s licenses shall expire on December 31 of each year.
