505.05 ABANDONING ANIMALS.

(a) No owner, keeper, handler or harborer of a dog, cat, animal, or companion animal as defined in O.R.C. §959.131, shall abandon such dog, cat, animal, or companion animal.

(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
