In addition to the requirements of Section 1349.25, the following additional requirements and standards are set for safety to life and property.
(a) Service entrance. Service equipment installed, irrespective to type, shall be of such capacity as to permit the full utilization of the capacity of the service entrance conductors installed at the time of the original installation.
(b) Distribution panels. Distribution panels for residential use shall be of the following minimum capacities: one-family dwelling, 100-ampere; two-family dwelling, each unit, 100-ampere; multiple-family units, each unit, sixty ampere. All branch circuits shall be of the automatic circuit breaker type.
(c) Grounding of Electrical Services. Where the water line is used as the main grounding electrode, the grounding conductor shall be connected as near as practical to the water line point of entry in the building and on the main trunk line.
(d) Metal siding. All dwellings and buildings with metal siding or covering shall be grounded at the corners.
(e) The raceways used to install service entrance conductors from the meter base to the main disconnecting means shall be of a metallic wiring system, acceptable with the present edition of the National Electrical Code.
