(a) The Electrical Inspector shall be appointed by the City Manager.
(b) The Electrical Inspector shall see that the provisions of this chapter are enforced and he shall make inspections of all electrical installations as provided in this chapter. he shall also serve as an ex-officio member of the Examining Board of Electricians. He shall perform other duties as may hereafter be assigned or prescribed by the City Manager.
(c) The Electrical Inspector shall require submission of, examine and check plans and specifications, drawings, descriptions or diagrams necessary to show clearly the character, kind and extent of electrical work covered by applicants for a permit, and upon approval thereof, shall issue the permit applied for.
