955.25 RODENT CONTROL.
   It shall be the duty of the Health Commissioner to cause an inspection of any premises he has good reason to believe is not in rodent-proof condition, or which he has good reason to believe is or may become infested with vermin or rodents, and for this purpose he or his authorized representative is permitted to enter upon the premises at all reasonable times. If the premises are found to be so infested or likely to become so infested the Health Commissioner shall cause a notice thereof to be served upon the owner, tenant, lessee, or occupant of the premises of their condition and what is required to correct this condition. The notice may be served by sending the same in a postpaid envelope properly addressed by certified mail. Failure to comply with the terms of the notice in 10 days after receipt shall constitute a misdemeanor.
