933.04 MATERIAL FOR HOUSE SEWER.
   The house sewer from its connection with the street sewer to a point not less than five feet from, and outside of the foundation wall shall be of first quality, salt-glazed, vitrified earthenware pipe, of heavy, cast-iron pipe free from any substantial defect, or of PVC pipe listed as suitable for the purpose of building sewers and drains in Table 4101:2-51-05(A) of the Ohio Plumbing Code, Chapter 4101:2-51 of the Ohio Administrative Code or any successor to the same or amendment thereof, and with a minimum pipe stiffness of 46 psi, the interior diameter of which shall be not less than six inches. Joints in house sewers shall be constructed so as to be watertight and rustproof. The method and manner of constructing joints, and the material used in relation to the construction thereof shall be approved by the Director of Engineering Services.
