(a) For each excavation permit issued by the City Engineer, a fee of five dollars ($5.00) will be charged together with an inspection fee of eighty dollars ($80.00). These fees shall accompany the application for a permit.
(b) The inspection fee shall be for 2 inspections of the work done. Any additional inspections, necessary in the opinion of the City Engineer, shall be paid for by the owner at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) each.
