§ 52.15 WATER CONSERVATION.
   (A)   Restrictions against sprinkling; other limitations of water use. If the City Council determines that a shortage of water supply threatens the city, the Council may, by resolution, limit the times and hours during which water may be used from the water system. It is unlawful to cause or permit water to be used for anything other than in home use during the period covered by the resolution.
   (B)   Water conservation plan. The city has adopted a water conservation plan (plan) approved by the state’s Department of Natural Resources. The plan identifies the conditions under which the Council may disclose a shortage. The plan is available for public inspection in the office of the City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer. Violations of the plan are punishable as provided in § 52.99(B) of this code of ordinances.
