§ 162.23 PERMIT ISSUANCE AND DENIAL.
   (A)   The Code Administrator will issue a permit for the erection, structural alteration or relocation of a sign within five days of receipt of a valid application, provided that the sign complies with all applicable laws and regulations of the city. The permit shall be valid for a period of one year (or unlimited duration).
   (B)   In all applications, where a matter of interpretation arises, the more specific definition or higher standard shall prevail. When a permit is denied, the Code Administrator must within five days, give a written notice to the applicant along with a brief statement of the reasons for denial, citing code sections and interpretation of possible non-conformity. The Code Administrator may suspend or revoke an issued permit for any false statement or misrepresentation of fact in the application.
