In order to defray the administrative costs of processing requests for review and approval of sketch plats, preliminary plats, final plats, variances, appeals or amendments a base fee as described in § 36.02 of this code of ordinances. In order to defray the additional costs of processing requests for applications submitted pursuant to the provisions of this section, additional costs for staff and consulting time and materials expended by the city in the processing of the applicant’s requests may be required of the applicant.
