Towers may not be illuminated by artificial means including strobe lights, unless the Federal Aviation Administration or other state or federal authority for a particular tower specifically requires such lighting. If lighting is required, fixtures should be positioned inward to reduce glare and reflection onto adjacent properties. When incorporated into the particular design of the tower, light fixtures used to illuminate ball fields, parking lots and similar areas may be attached to the tower.
