§ 159.20 SEPARATION OR BUFFER REQUIREMENTS.
   (A)   Towers must be separated from residentially zoned lands by a minimum of 90 feet or 150% of the height of the proposed tower whichever is greater. The minimum tower separation distance is calculated and applied irrespective of the city jurisdictional boundaries. Measurement of tower separation distances for the purpose of compliance with this chapter is measured from the base of a tower to the closest point of the proposed site, which abuts residentially zoned lands.
   (B)   Towers must be separated by at least 1,500 feet from existing towers or towers approved but not yet constructed at the time a permit is granted. Separation distances are measured by drawing or following a straight line between the base of the existing or approved structure and the proposed base, pursuant to the site plan for the proposed tower.
