(A) To facilitate the easier location of residences and businesses in the city, by the public, by utility companies and emergency vehicles, and for the protection and safety of the citizens of the city, the streets and properties and principal buildings are to be uniformly named and numbered, as shown on that certain map identified as the city’s Street Name Map and index of all property numbers on file in the City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer’s office.
(B) The map and numbering index is adopted and made part of this subchapter.
