§ 151.07 PERMIT FEES.
   (A)   General rule. It is unlawful for any person to perform work subject to the Building Code for which a permit is required without having obtained the permit and paid the fees required by § 36.02 of this code of ordinances. The Building Official must establish a system for the issuance of required permits in accordance with the Building Code and § 36.02 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   Time limits. If the construction or alteration for which a building permit was issued is not commenced within 180 days after the date of the issuance of the permit, the permit expires. Construction in the residential zoning districts must be completed as to the exterior appearance within 12 months of the date of issuance of a permit.
