(A) Any solicitor or peddler who intends to sell or solicit orders for the sale of wares, merchandise or services at the private residences or on residential properties shall register with the city. The registration shall include the following information:
(1) The name, address and telephone number of the solicitor, peddler or hawker;
(2) The name, address and telephone number of solicitor or peddler’s employer; and
(3) A description of the goods, merchandise, wares or services being offered, including the brand name, if any.
(B) If any non-profit corporation intends to sell or solicit orders for goods, wares, merchandise or services at residences or on residential properties, it shall provide the following information in its registration:
(1) The name, address and telephone number of the non-profit corporation;
(2) A description of the goods, merchandise, wares or services being offered; and
(3) The name, address and telephone number of a person who may be contacted for information concerning the organization and the selling or soliciting.
