§ 112.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   HAZARDOUS WASTE. The meaning prescribed by M.S. § 116.06, subd. 11, as it may be amended from time to time.
   JUNK YARD, MOTOR VEHICLE SALVAGE FACILITY and RECYCLING FACILITY.
      (1)   Includes land or buildings where waste, discarded or salvaged materials are brought, sold, exchanged, stored, cleaned, packed, disassembled or handled, including, but not limited to:
         (a)   Scrap metal;
         (b)   Rags;
         (c)   Batteries;
         (d)   Paper;
         (e)   Tires and rubber products;
         (f)   Glass products;
         (g)   Lumber products;
         (h)   Junked, dismantled or wrecked motor vehicles, semi-trailers, trailers, farm machinery, construction equipment or machinery, boats and other recreational vehicles, appliances or similar items and parts thereof;
         (i)   Three or more inoperative or unlicensed motor vehicles or trailers; and
         (j)   Iron, steel and other old or scrap ferrous or non-ferrous material.
      (2)   The term RECYCLING FACILITY shall also have the meaning prescribed in Minn. Rules part 7035.0300, subpart 88, and M.S. § 115A.03, subd. 25(c), as it may be amended from time to time.
      (3)   The terms JUNK YARD, MOTOR VEHICLE SALVAGE FACILITY and RECYCLING CENTER shall not include an area set aside by the city, county or an organization authorized by the city or county which has containers for persons to place paper, glass, plastic or metal to be recycled if the recyclables are removed from the container at least once per month.
