§ 93.08 LOT PURCHASE; CONDITIONS.
   (A)   Lots must be sold subject to this chapter. The purchaser must expressly agree in the deed conveying the lot that their rights are subject to the reasonable rules and regulations as the City Council may adopt. A lot may not be used for any purpose other than the burial of human remains and the placing of appropriate memorials.
(Prior Code, § 520.15)
   (B)   (1)   Upon full payment of the purchase price of a lot, the Deputy Clerk will issue a cemetery deed conveying the lot executed by the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk-Treasurer and the deed will be recorded in the records of the city. If the purchase price is not paid in full, a contract must be signed by the purchaser and approved by the Council.
      (2)   The contract must state the amount paid and terms for payment of the balance. Before a burial is permitted, an amount equal to the actual space used, plus the interment and disinterment charges, must be paid. Deferred payments will bear interest at the rate of 6% per year from the date of execution of the contract.
(Prior Code, § 520.17)
