(a) Each ambulance service shall provide ambulance service (of the level or levels specified in his or her permit) on a continuous 24 hours per day basis, excluding acts of God or labor disputes. If for any reason an operator stops providing the prescribed level or levels of ambulance service on a continuous 24 hours per day basis, he or she shall immediately stop any advertisement of emergency services which have been discontinued and immediately notify the Health Officer.
(b) Exceptions: Special events permittees.
