§ 23.0751   Definitions.
   ABOVE GROUND STORAGE TANK. Any above ground tank or container used for the storage of petroleum.
   PETROLEUM. Crude oil, or any fraction thereof, that is liquid at 60°F temperature and 14.7 pounds per square inch absolute pressure.
   RELEASE. Any spilling, overfilling, leaking, pumping, pouring, emitting, emptying, discharging, injecting, escaping, leaching, dumping or disposing into the environment.
   SPILL PREVENTION, CONTROL AND COUNTERMEASURE PLAN. A plan which is required to be prepared by each owner or operator of an above-ground storage tank pursuant to the requirements of Health and Safety Code §§ 25270.5(c) in accordance with the guidelines contained in 40 C.F.R. part 112.
   STORAGE. The containment, handling or treatment of petroleum, for any period of time, including on a temporary basis.
