§ 13.0501   Volunteers Workers’ Compensation.
   The provisions of Labor Code § 3363.5 are hereby adopted. A person who performs voluntary service without pay as designated and authorized by the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County and Adult Work Sentence participants from the Municipal or Superior Court doing rehabilitative work under County supervision shall be deemed to be employees of the County for the purposes of Workers’ Compensation coverage while performing such service. This Section does not make a volunteer an employee of the County for any purposes other than such coverage, nor grant nor enlarge upon any other right, duty or responsibility of a volunteer.
