The executive officer of the Department of Agriculture/Weights and Measures shall be the Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer who shall have the powers and duties conferred upon these offices by the laws of this State. Subject to the provisions of this Chapter, the Agricultural Commissioner/Sealer shall have the power to appoint, discipline and assign duties to all assistants, deputies, and all other employees necessary to conduct the duties of the Department.
