§ 12.0702   Establishment of County Medical Center Operations Oversight Committee.
   There is an Operations Oversight Committee at San Bernardino County Medical Center.
   (a)   Composition. The Operations Oversight Committee is comprised of the Medical Center Director, who shall serve as Chairperson, the Medical Center Medical Director, who shall serve as Vice-Chairperson, the Medical Center Associate Administrator for Fiscal Services, the Medical Center Materiel Manager, and the four Medical Center Associate Medical Directors.
   (b)   Responsibilities. The Operations Oversight Committee shall:
      (1)   Review all proposed leases, referrals and purchases of equipment, supplies and services for use at County Medical Center which are initiated by the members of the Medical Staff who do not otherwise file conflict of interest disclosure statements;
      (2)   Take action recommending or not recommending the proposed leases, referrals and purchases to the appropriate approving authority;
      (3)   Take recorded minutes and provide the minutes to the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors and any interested party.
   (c)   Meetings. The Operations Oversight Committee shall meet as often as is necessary to determine whether or not to recommend proposed leases, referrals and purchases. The Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson or their designees may schedule meetings.
   (d)   Quorum and Vote Required to Take Action. A quorum of the Operations Oversight Committee shall consist of five members of the Committee and the Committee shall act only upon a majority vote of the membership present with a quorum in attendance.
