No person shall erect, construct, enlarge, alter, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure in the unincorporated area of the county or cause the same to be done contrary to or in violation of this chapter or in violation of any of the provisions of the codes adopted by this chapter.
