The Cal. Health and Safety Code Division 104, Part 7 (§§ 11370 et seq.), also referred to as the California Retail Food Code, provides statewide health and sanitation standards for retail food facilities. Assembly Bill 626 was passed on September 18, 2018, adding to and amending sections of the Cal. Health and Safety Code relating to food safety. This chapter is adopted in accordance with Assembly Bill 626 and pursuant to the Board of Supervisors' police powers as set forth under § 7 of Article XI of the State Constitution. This chapter shall be administered and implemented by the Environmental Health Services division of the county Public Health Department.
