The Board of Supervisors exercises the option provided for in Cal. Food and Agricultural Code, Division 17 to require certificates of inspection on all head lettuce and salad products packed for sale in the county and to establish a schedule of fees for such inspection. As used in this chapter, the following words or phrases shall have the following meanings:
(A) AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONER means the Agricultural Commissioner of San Benito County, or his/her designated representative.
(B) COMMERCIAL means an activity carried on for the primary purpose of procuring subsistence or profit.
(C) PERSON means any individual, firm, partnership, joint venture, corporation, association, club or organization.
