Any individual who fails to register and/or violates the sterilization, sanitation, and safety standards can be charged for a misdemeanor and subject to a civil penalty of $500 per violation pursuant to the Cal. Health and Safety Code § 119323 provided if he/she;
(A) Violates this chapter;
(B) Permits a violation to exist on the premises under his or her control;
(C) Fails to take action to abate the existence of the violation(s) within a specified time period, when ordered or notified to do so by the LEA; or
(D) Upon findings that any individual does not have a valid registration and performs body art procedures as specified above.
