This chapter shall supplement but shall not supersede or limit any other statute, regulation, or ordinance affecting the subject matter hereof, including, but not limited to the other fire prevention and protection statutes, regulations, and ordinances enacted by the state, the county, or any other governmental agency having jurisdiction. These regulations shall apply in the unincorporated area of the county that is located entirely within the territorial boundaries of the City of Hollister ("county islands"), or partially within the territorial boundaries of the City of Hollister ("county pockets"), or along certain urbanized edges of the City of Hollister, as depicted in the map attached to Ordinance 857 and incorporated herein by reference as Exhibit A.
