In the performance of his or her function hereunder, the Purchasing Agent or Assistant Purchasing Agent shall comply with all applicable statutes, ordinances and regulations. Purchases shall be made using such methods and procedures to secure the lowest price consistent with the quality desirable for the use intended. The Purchasing Agent and Assistant Purchasing Agent shall comply with standards set forth in the San Benito County Purchasing and Contracting Policy Manual.
