The Purchasing Agent has the authority to designate such assistants and limit or rescind authority. Each department head of the County of San Benito shall serve as Assistant Purchasing Agents for purposes of their respective budgets only. Assistant Purchasing Agents may request authorization to designate an additional Assistant Purchasing Agent within their department, subject to the approval of the County Administrative Officer and the County Auditor.
