The Board of Supervisors finds as follows:
(A) Existing state law authorizes the county to levy fees for services related to the special law enforcement services provided by the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office;
(B) The fees established by this subarticle shall be used to recover the costs of providing law enforcement services for public and private events by the Sheriff’s Office; and
(C) The fees specified in this article represent the reasonable fees necessary for performing special law enforcement services. The fees do not exceed the reasonable estimate of the cost of providing the services for which the fees are levied.
