(A) Inspection. All construction or reconstruction of public, private and water service lines shall be in accordance with the city standards and subject to inspection by the city.
(B) Plans and drawings required. Plan and profile drawings stamped by a professional engineer licensed by the state shall be prepared for all new water mains (whether public or private) and for all water main extensions, reconstructions or renovations; and all such plan and profile drawings must be reviewed and approved by the Public Works Superintendent and the state’s Division of Environmental Quality before any construction work on the water lines is started.
