§ 110.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Civil liability. The Attorney shall, at the direction of the City Council, institute civil suit in the name of the city to enforce compliance with the provisions of this chapter by injunctive relief, declaratory relief or other civil remedy. No civil judgment, or any act by the city or the violator shall bar or prevent a criminal prosecution for each and every violation of this chapter.
   (B)   Criminal liability. A person who violates any provision of this chapter or operates a business or occupation for which a license is required by this chapter without having first obtained a license, as herein provided, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be subject to a fine of up to $300.
