Any FDIC-insured institution, along with the Local Government Investment Pool, are hereby designated as the official depositories of the funds for the city. The Treasurer/Finance Director is hereby ordered, required and directed to keep monies belonging to, or in the care of, the city, coming into his or her hands and into the hands of the city, in the best interest of the city, with City Council approval.
